Your local guide to university
When it comes to university, there are 2 main schools of thought: the “I know why” and the “I’ll wing it”.
For some obscure reason, the vast majority of students adhere to the second one, thinking “once I’m there, it’s their problem, they’ll have to teach me why I’m here”.
I’m so happy you and your teen decided you wanted to be in the “I know why” club!
Choosing the university major wisely is easy if you know how. Not by guessing, that’s for sure, or “finding” it, and certainly not by drawing it out of a raffle hat!
But by CHOOSING, by making an educated selection, one that is tailor-made to your teen, so that you, the parents, and your teen, can finally breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy all that life at university has to offer them. It’s the proverbial small hinge that opens a big door…
You see, when students know why they want to study a certain field, what university is – and what it isn’t – and what they can expect during university and afterwards, teachers move mountains for them. They open doors that most students don’t even know are there.
It’s like choosing sweets from a box, where all the chocolates are wrapped. Beautifully, no doubt - but what if you don’t like the flavour and want to spit it out immediately?
So, let me show you the flavours, let’s talk taste and aftertaste and then you can choose your favourite(s).
1 day to tighten your teen’s decision about their choice of college/university and their major. 9-to-5, with lunch included.
Course-correcting now, in a safe environment, with my eyes and insider know-how, instead of after they already started university, when time, money, energy and motivation are draining fast. Clarity instead of “maybe”, and “I don’t know”. We open the bonbons jar and make an informed selection.
Must bring their completed worksheets from the mini-course. Must be willing to work both individually and in the group. Must be curious and fun.
After 5PM I’ll want to talk to you, the parent(s), individually, in detail, no rush. Call or Zoom are also fine if you can’t make it on the day.

This mini-course tells and shows your teen exactly how to choose his/her major and his/her university AFTER s/he has worked through a deep understanding of themselves, who s/he is, what s/he likes and dislikes and the rest.
You obviously know how it goes: first is step 1, then step 2, step 3 and only afterwards step 4; never backwards.
I made it easy. I made it comprehensive. I stripped the lot of all the surplus. I left the stories and the bridges, of course.
Now it’s on your teen to do the work. I can’t do it. You can’t do it. They must do it.
You can help them by tightening the deadline to finish.
I can help them by working with him/her in HI Insider. But not before s/he has finished this mini-course to the best of their abilities and knowledge.

Jetzt ist Ihr Sohn / Ihre Tochter dran, sich tatsächlich in die Arbeit reinzuknien. Ich kann das nicht tun. Sie können das nicht tun. Er/sie muss es tun.
Sie können ihm/ihr helfen, indem Sie ein klares (und relativ kurzes) Deadline für getane Arbeit setzen.

Am simplificat lucrurile cât am putut. Am făcut totul cât se poate de clar. Am eliminat tot balastul. Am păstrat doar poveștile esențiale și punțile de legătură dintre pași.
Acum depinde de fiul/fiica dumneavoastră să parcurgă conștient și conștiincios mini-cursul. Eu nu pot s-o fac în locul lui/ei. Nici dumneavoastră nu puteți. El/ea trebuie s-o facă.
Dumneavoastră îl/o puteți ajuta stabilind un termen limită mai strâns pentru finalizare.
Eu îl/o pot ajuta lucrând cu el/ea în cadrul HI Insider. Dar nu înainte ca el/ea să fi finalizat acest mini-curs cât de bine și de conștiincios poate.
